Beth Cairn’s passions are downhill and backcountry skiing, mountain biking, hiking and the mountains. She expresses this through her art and passion for woodworking which she inherited from her Uncle, a master woodworker in Ste. Adele, Quebec. Each piece is drawn on a tableau of wood then the negative space removed using a rotary tool, a router to soften the edges and further details by hand. She then paints them with acrylic paint and frames each with solid fir. |
